Paris Horse Auction is located 9 miles West of Paris on Hwy 82. Our auctions are the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month. We start with tack and equipment at 6:30 pm with horses to follow. We have on site veterinarian services for coggins tests and health papers if needed. The Cafe and Tack Store are open during the sale.

About the Horse Auction:
Curtis and Kay McDaniel started Paris Horse Auction in the early 1970’s as a side venture to their ranching and construction businesses. The auction was successful and encouraged the couple to start a feed and seed supply store in the auction house a few years later. The couple closed the original auction and store in the mid 1970’s to concentrate on their growing family. During the mid 1980’s, the couple again decided to open up the auction as their oldest sons moved into the business in a more active role. In 2000, the couple opened up Wholesale Tack, a new building on the premises to provide a much needed service to a large auction clientele. At this time, their youngest son joined the business and became active in the tack industry. Currently, the McDaniel family has renovated the auction building due to severe storm damage and made positive changes to the structure to enhance customers buying and selling experience. Ceilings were raised and the ring view was enhanced with the elimination of structural elements. A customer lounge area was created by the elimination of an unneeded office. The McDaniel family brings the collective knowledge of several generations of equine and ranching experience to our customers. We strive to provide our customers with excellent service, honesty, and knowledge in order to provide the best fit between horse, human, and saddlery. We offer on site auction capabilities for ranch, equipment, or livestock dispersals. We also offer real estate services through Blankinship Land and Cattle. We realize that in any business transaction, trust is an essential issue. We are licensed and bonded through the Packers and Stockyards Administration and various members of the family are licensed and recognized by the Texas Real Estate Commission and Texas Licensing and Regulation.
